BoB are happy to announce a short but genuinely international trip early next year. With their UK friends Paul Henshaw and his band the Scientific Simpletons in tow, gigs are scheduled in Nordhorn (Irish Pub Nordhorner Hof), a few miles into Germany, on Friday January 22nd, in Delft (De V) on Saturday January 23rd and Dordrecht (Merz) on January 24th (late afternoon gig).
In terms of gigs it may appear rather quiet at the BoB-front since our successful gig at Na Fir Bolg. But hey, we enjoy our summer break too! Anyhow, you can all rest assured knowing that a lot is going on behind the scenes.
For one we are busy writing and rehearsing a handful of new songs.
Of course we are busy arranging more gigs, after the 15 we played in 2015 already.
Sunday July 5th, Bunch of Bastards traveled south to Belgium to play the final gig of the three-day international Na Fir Bolg festival. It also was BoB's last gig before the summer break (and the 15th gig of 2015).
BoB are gonna travel south and play a gig in Belgium at the Na Fir Bolg festival in the first weekend of July. It is a great honour for us to be the last band playing at this festival, and we are much looking forward to bringing the festivities to a close in style. We are on at 24.00 hours on Sunday night, or at 0.00 hours Monday morning, whatever you fancy ;)

The Sky over Rotterdam: the Rotterdam 1940-1945 episode in a ‘full force folk’-song.
BoB are about to release a song and video in which the history of the Second World War in Rotterdam is summarized from the perspective of what happened in the sky over that city. The song is based on the Rotterdam boyhood wartime memories of a band-member’s dad.
