BoB-singer Cor is gonna move to Sint Maarten in the Carribean this summer, where he will be working for the next couple of years.
It's been a blast Cor, thanks for being part of BoB during 79 gigs and loads of rehearsals as well as for writing and recording songs together. Of one thing the remaining BoB-members are sure, our slogan "once a bastard, always a bastard" will most certainly apply to you !!!
To say it was fun touring a weekend with Pirates of the Pubs would be a gross understatement. Though never having met before, the two bands glued easily and between them had lots of fun gigging, sightseeing and drinking the occasional pint. To be continued late April with four gigs together in the Czech Republic. Hell yeah.
2017 holds many a promise for BoB. We are working on new songs for recordings later in the year. In the meantime a nice string of gigs is lined up already, while more is brewing. The St. Pat. weekend sees us playing three gigs, among which one on Fri. 17 with LQR in PoGo (Gorinchem, Nl.) and one on Sat. 18 with The Ceili Family in Pelmke (Hagen, G.). In spring two long weekends with our Czech friends Pirates of the Pubs are scheduled, one overhere and one in Bohemia. So there is lots to look forward to already.
BoB's 2016 debut release MY DRINKIN' AIN'T DONE got some honourable mentions in the 'best-of-2016' lists published by folkpunk websites: #13 in the London Celtic Punks Top 25, #18 in the PaddyRock's Top 25 Celtic Punk Albums and #27 in the CelticFolkPunk Top 40 .
